Thulam is an upcoming film talking about drug addicts and how college students become victims of a drug racket run by anti-social elements. While yesteryear hero Shiva of Eeramaana Rojave fame makes a comeback in a crucial police officer’s role, others in the supporting cast include Manobala, Bala Singh, Ponnambalam and Mona Bindre. Gana Bala has penned a song and also sung and acted in the dance number. Producer Vijayvikash, who also dons greasepaint as the main villain, says that noted lyricist, late Muthukumar, has written the lyrics for a song.
