Seasoned actress Ramya Krishnan is rocking tinsel town after her powerful performances in blockbusters Baahubali and Soggade Chinni Nayana with Nagarjuna. Having got a fresh lease of life in her second innings, the big news is that the Padayappa actress has been roped in to play a role opposite Kamal for his next movie, which will be entirely shot in the United States.
Shruti Haasan is also playing a crucial role in the movie. Ramya spoke to DC from Thenkasi where she’s shooting, and shared her excitement. “It’s been extremely gratifying that good scripts and big projects are coming my way. I would call it the best phase of my career.”
On teaming up with ace Kamal Haasan with whom she collaborated for Panchathantiram in 2002, she says, “Kamal sir called. I agreed. That’s all I can say at this point of time. (Smiles) It’s like going back to my college days. Every day will be a learning experience when you work with him. I am looking forward to the shoot.”
