Bollywood cinematographer turned hero Natraj Subramaniam aka Nutty has bagged yet another meaty film titled Silk. Directed by the duo Harish-Hari of Aaaah fame, the film is set in the silk town of Kancheepuram and Nutty plays the lead protagonist. In an exclusive, Nutty who was leaving for Hyderabad for the promotion of Nitin’s Chal Mohana Ranga in which he has cranked the camera, shares more on the film with DC.
“When I heard the script, I was totally floored. I gave my instant nod. A crime thriller, I portray a deliveryman of online goods. It has a lot of surprises and unexpected turns,” an excited Natraj tells us.
Ask him as what’s the ‘Silk’ connection and he flashes his warm smile. “I can’t give out anything on those lines since it will reveal the story. All I can say is that he is a normal guy who gets involved in a risky situation and how he comes out of it forms the crux.”
There are a lot of action scenes in the movie and stunt choreographer duo Anbarivu have been t roped in, he adds. Sam C.S. will be scoring the music. He says the female lead and supporting cast are being worked out. Nutty also has yet another fascinating movie Godfather in his kitty with Jagan, a short filmmaker turned director.
