Looks like Sanjay and Advaita, the lead pair of Sevili — an emotional potboiler — have changed their names for this movie. While Sanjay has changed his name to Arvind Roshan, the female lead Advaita, who was part of the award-winning film Azhagar Samiyin Kuthirai, has gone back to her original name Keerthy Shetty. Advaita also made an impact with her bold character in Snehavin Kadhalargal. Sanjay says that he rechristened his name for better prospects, while Advaita feels that her screen name has been mispronounced by many and hence the change.
Directed by cinematographer RA Anand, Sevili revolves around the emotional tussle between a son and his mother, where the former longs for the love and affection from his mom, which he thinks he is deprived of. The girl who enters his life tries to be a bridge between them. While Poovitha plays the mother, Arvind essays the son and Keerthy, his romantic pair. “There’s also a message in the film. Arvind has given a heart-rending performance. The movie is bound to give him the much-needed break,” reveals Anand.
