Sneha, who was last seen in a full-fledged role in Prakash Raj’s Un Samayal Araiyil, was on a sabbatical after her marriage. Recently, it was announced that she would be making her comeback with a Malayalam film opposite Mammootty and baby Sara Arjun.
The recent development is that the versatile actress has been roped in to play a significant role in director Jayam Raja’s upcoming film with Sivakarthikeyan! Confirming the news to DC, Sneha said, “Yes, I have been signed for the film, but, I can’t reveal anything about my role at this juncture.”
The ensemble cast of this yet-to-be titled movie includes Sivakarthikeyan, Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, RJ Balaji, Sathish and Thambi Ramaiah.
The rumour is that Nayanthara, who worked with Raja in hit movie Thani Oruvan, is likely to play the female lead in this movie. However, the official announcement regarding Nayan’s inclusion is still awaited.
The project, produced by RD Raja of 24AM Studios is expected to start rolling by the end of this year. Sivakarthikeyan, who is awaiting the release of Remo, will shoot for Mohan Raja’s film next.
