Hollywood star Brad Pitt and wife of 2 years Angelina Jolie, are reportedly heading for a multi-million dollar divorce. The pair, are allegedly ending their 11-year relationship because of Pitt’s relationship with his ‘Allied’ co-star, Marion Cotillard and Jolie's ill health.
Reports on OK! Magazine state that Brad and Angie are headed for a $400 million split. Insiders have opened up to the magazine claiming that Jolie’s deteriorating health and Brad’s closeness with his co-star are the main causes leading to the divorce.
Sources say, Jolie, who has been suffering from "many health problems," would be furious if the actor was indeed cheating on her. “She would be furious if Brad and Marion were sleeping together,” the source said. “It’s sad because they do still really care about each other, but it’s looking like the only way out of the jealousy and misery is a divorce.”
Meanwhile, Pitt is fed up and ‘exhausted’ trying to get Angie to change her ways. Jolie “barely eats, guzzles wine, [and] smokes constantly,” leading to “mood swings.” The insider said,“Brad’s just exhausted from spending so much energy trying to get her to take better care of herself. It’s been hard to watch the woman he loves waste away.”
Rumours of the two heading for a split surfaced early this year. Reports in International Business Times stated that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s relationship has been on the rocks for months, beginning from the Pitt’s recent move to London with their children Pax, Zahara, Maddox, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne.
The reports in Touch magazine stated, “Jolie has become pale, gaunt and exhausted. The strain of fighting with him and their impending divorce have sapped her strength and caused her to lose even more weight. It’s going to be bad if she doesn’t put the brakes on soon. She’s overworked, overstressed, and emotionally overburdened. She’s headed for a complete physical and emotional breakdown. Pitt has given up on helping her and saving the marriage.”
The two starred opposite each other in the relationship drama ‘By the Sea’ in 2015. The film showcased a couple’s failing relationship set against the backdrop of an idyllic Mediterranean resort. However, their has been no confirmation from the two about their rumoured split.
