Just a few days after rapper Desiigner was wrongfully arrested on gun charges, French Montana was stopped by New York police on Wednesday night, and the No Shopping rapper is alleging that it was because he’s not white. According to TMZ.com, French posted a video online of his car being pulled over, and while his driver talks to the cops, he says, “Black live matter!” referring to the anti-racist movement that has taken over the US. He also called them “hip hop cops”, referring to an alleged unit in the NYPD that targets black rappers. Desiigner, who was arrested for allegedly having illegal guns and drugs in his car, was let go with most of the charges dropped after the District Attorney found no gun or illegal drugs (only steroids) in the vehicle.
