The Grey’s Anatomy actress Ellen Pompeo took to Instagram on Friday to share how she had her purse snatched by a thief while on vacation in Italy, reports EOnline.com.
“My purse was stolen from right under my nose!! I blame the rose!! But Grazia to whoever stole it for dropping it on the street exactly in tact (sic),” she shared on Instagram, adding, “I was tracking my phone and chasing you down...had I caught you... it would not have ended well for you... I am nice but lets not forget my heritage... NAPOLITANO.... Also I hope you were smiling because e Sarai catturato perche sei in macchina. Please forgive my horrible Italian (sic).”
Italy police saw Ellen’s Instagram post and appreciated her supportive message. “#Thankyou @EllenPompeo #GreysAnatomy Happy to know the #Police in #Florence helped you (sic),” the department wrote online.
