Mumbai: In an exclusive interview with a Russian channel named ‘Channel One’, Lindsay Lohan has revealed why she parted ways with her former fiancé Egor Tarabasov.
Lohan, 30, feels that after all the speculations it is time for everyone to know the truth. “I wanted to do this interview because it’s time to tell the truth,” she told Russian TV’s Channel One. “There have been so many lies printed about me recently. I’ve kept quiet for so long but now I’m scared of what Egor might do to me and to himself.”
Shocking revelations were made by the ‘Mean Girls’ star about her supposed billionaire ex-fiancé, ranging from the Egor threatening to splash acid on her face to buying her own engagement ring as he was broke.
"I went to bed and he broke into my house. He started strangling me," she explained. "I feared that Egor may splash acid in my face. I jumped out to the balcony and shouted with all my force, 'He's trying to kill me, call the police!' I am lucky to come to Moscow to speak."
"He does not have money. What could I do? We lived in my home. I paid for everything. His father paid for many things, but mainly I was paying," she told the news outlet.
"I feel I was used. It is the first time in such a relationship when I was beaten, it is painful for me. I don't want it, I am not a victim, I am a strong person," she added.
Lindsay admitted that she should have called it off ages ago but did not because goodbyes are hard.
"I should have stopped it when the first signs came,” LiLo said, adding, “But it is very hard for me to say goodbye.”
