Blake Lively is one no-nonsense woman and she is not afraid to call out people for it. At the Variety’s Power of Women event, where the empowerment of women is celebrated, something very ironical happened.
JustJared.com reports that at the red-carpet of the event, the 29-year-old actress wanted to talk about more than just fashion. When a reporter asked Blake what her “go-to power outfit” was, she told him off saying, “Come on you want to talk about an outfit today? Come on what about building women up? Outfits? Would you ask a man that? You wouldn’t ask a man what a power outfit was. I’m sorry.” In a video clipping shot by USA Today’s digital editor Maeve McDermott, she further went on to make a point, “But see, this is the moment where we become more aware, and that we change, and that we build women up. So, you can ask me another question.”
