Actress Terry Farrell, who played fan-favorite character Jadzia Dax on the ’90s series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, is engaged to Adam Nimoy, son of late Star Trek legend Leonard Nimoy, aka Spock.
According to People.com, film critic Scott Mantz first reported the couple’s updated relationship status in a tweet on Friday. “RT BREAKING NEWS!! How’s THIS for #StarTrek ROYALTY?? TERRY FARRELL & ADAM NIMOY are ENGAGED!! May their love & union LLAP!! (sic),” Mantz tweeted. Farrell thanked fans for their well-wishes and support in the most appropriate way possible, tweeting, “Thank you all for you amazingly sweet well wishes and support! May you all LLAP (Live Long and Prosper)!!! (sic).”
This will mark the second marriage for both Terry, who has a son from a previous marriage, and Adam, who has a son and daughter with his ex-wife.
