Caught on camera! Angry Johnny Depp swears, breaks stuff while Amber apologizes
Los Angeles: Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have been involved in a legal battle since the 30-year-old actress claimed the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star was abusive towards her during their 15-month-old marriage.
Amid the case, a video of the couple has emerged online. Depp is seen trashing the kitchen, banging cupboards, throwing wine bottle and glass, and launching into an expletive-laden rant. He grabs the camera as soon as he notices he is being recorded.
The 1 minute 37 seconds long clip features the 53-year-old actor going berserk, in the kitchen, during a fight with Heard, 30, who has accused him of abuse, reported Aceshowbiz.
However, the video was taken months before Depp allegedly hit Heard with a phone during an altercation back on May 21.
The clip opens with the actor smashing cabinets and cursing as Heard asks him again and again “What happened?”
Heard is seen apologising to him. The actor then gets a bottle of wine and pours it in a glass when Heard asks him if he finished the whole bottle ‘this morning’. Depp then finds out that he was being recorded and gets visibly very angry.
According to the sources close to Depp the video is “heavily edited” and there are parts where Heard is seen smiling.
However, Amber Heard has denied she leaked the video of estranged husband Johnny Depp getting angry and smashing a wine glass during a fight with her.
As Heard arrived in Los Angeles for deposition in the case, the 'Rum Diary' actress said she "didn't release the video" and hopes to settle the feud with Depp, 53, reported TMZ.
In a statement obtained, the actress also says she "underestimated the toll" that her divorce drama would take on her and wants to settle up.
The 30-year-old actress arrived at the LA airport, wearing a black jeans and t-shirt combo. She later traded it with a long-sleeved white blouse and a black skirt.
