Alan was a genius: Helen Mirren

Dame Helen Mirren, who co-starred with the late Alan Rickman in his last ever film Eye In The Sky, spoke about the actor and said that he would have been extremely proud of how the movie turned out.

Speaking on The Andrew Marr Show on Sunday, Helen said, “Alan was a genius character actor and he could play all these amazing baddies. The Alan we see on the screen in Eye In The Sky is Alan. It’s Alan as I remember him — his wit, his humanity, his intelligence.” She also added, “I think Alan would have been really, really proud for this to have been his last film.”
