Gigi Hadid faces backlash

Earlier this week it was reported that supermodel Gigi Hadid will be part of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. “Forever and ever and ever a dream come true to be asked back to the VS Show!” she wrote on Instagram.

However, TeenVogue.com reported that not many were happy with the fact that she will be going to China for the show. Recently, in her sister Bella Hadid’s Snapchat story, Gigi was seen holding a cookie with Buddha’s face. The model offended several Asians as she squinted her eyes in the photo. Fans have openly said that they do not want Gigi in China. According to Refinery29.com, one fan wrote, “China doesn’t welcome Gigi.”
