Salman Khan to imitate Chiranjeevi’s dance move

Salman has now found a new way to honour Chiranjeevi.

Choreographer-director Prabhudheva has incorporated Chiranjeevi’s famous ‘Veena step’ where he glides in the shape of the Indian musical instrument, the Veena, in Salman’s item number Munna badnam hua

That Salman Khan is a huge Chiranjeevi fan is a well-known fact. They share a mutual admiration for each other’s work. When Chiranjeevi’s son Ramcharan Teja was shooting for his Hindi debut film (Zanjeer) in Mumbai, home-made food was sent from Salman’s residence every day to Ramcharan’s sets.

Salman has now found a new way to honour Chiranjeevi. In Dabangg 3 which opens in December, Salman would be doing his first ‘item song’ titled Munna badnaam hua — a male version of the popular Munni badaam hui performed in the first Dabangg film by Malaika Arora.

And here’s where Salman will pay a tribute to Chiranjeevi. On Salman’s insistence choreographer-director Prabhudheva has incorporated Chiranjeevi’s celebrated ‘Veena step’ where he glides in the shape of the Indian musical instrument, the Veena.

A source close to the film reveals, “Salman wanted to attempt a different kind of dance move in Munna badnaam... That’s why he came up with Chiranjeevi sir’s famous ‘Veena step.’ Prabhudheva was more than happy to incorporate it.”
