Mumbai: Disha Patani who made her Bollywood debut with Sushant Singh Rajput starrer 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' will next be seen in the Jackie Chan starrer Kung Fu Yoga.
Disha managed to impress the cinema legend and was immediately cast in a role that will see her performing martial arts, intense action and gymnastics in the entertainer.
Directed by Stanley Tong, the adventure thriller follows a Chinese archaeology professor who teams up with an Indian professor to locate a lost Magadha treasure and the team recently shot for a fun song at Jodhpur's Mehrangadh fort and palace.
While there has been ample speculation that Disha has been cast as Jackie’s love interest in the film, the actress reveals, “Jackie's films typically don't focus on the love story but you'll know something's brewing between Jackie's and my character. It was a dream come true to shoot with Jackie. I hope filmmakers also see me as a girl who can punch as well as she can dance, after this film!"
