Mumbai: Our desi girl, Priyanka Chopra seems to be effectively inching towards her global domination aspirations. Her dedication and hard work has made her into a worldwide phenomenon that she is today. Now, the 35-year-old actress is ready to add one more feather to her already crowded cap. She is soon to be felicitated by Variety’s Power of Women for her incredible work with UNICEF.
The event will take place October 13 at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons. This year's event honours Priyanka Chopra (UNICEF), Octavia Spencer (City Year) Patty Jenkins (Anti-Recidivism Coalition), Michelle Pfeiffer (Environmental Working Group), and Kelly Clarkson (QX Super School), All of the honourees will be featured on the covers of the October 10 issue of Variety.

In the recent times, Priyanka was amongst the ambassadors for the Global Citizen Festival. An event for the same was held recently for which Priyanka was a part of the festivities. She hosted the event in Central Park, New York to a big crowd who were all cheers for our global diva. She was joined by celebrities like Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o, pop singer Demi Lovato, actress Freida Pinto, actress Michelle Monaghan, Mayor Bill de Blasio amongst several others.
On the work front, Priyanka is currently gearing up for the third season of ABC’s show Quantico. She has also two Hollywood projects lined up – A Kid Like Jake – alongside Jim Parsons, Claire Danes, and Octavia Spencer and Isn't It Romantic? with Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine, and Liam Hemsworth. In both these movies the actress will be seen in supporting roles. Priyanka is expected to announce her Bollywood projects too.
