Besides Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Arbaaz Khan, Freaky Ali also stars Amy Jackson and Karishma Kotak.
The movie is all set to release on September 9, but it looks like the movie’s director Sohail Khan and producer Salman Khan are not very happy with leading lady Amy.
Despite the film’s promotions running into its final leg, Amy seems to be missing from the promotions of the film.
Amy’s accent woes seem to be the reason behind her being absent. Says a close source, “Amy had cold feet and backed out from the television promotions of the film at the 11th hour, as she feels that her Hindi accent is being made fun of. Because of this decision, the makers are upset with Amy. However, the actress is on city tours with the team and it looks like she was just hesitant to interact on television. Or it could be that public appearances make her conscious.”
However, Amy did go to promote Singh Is Bliing alongside Akshay Kumar on the same show, which makes one wonder why she backed out this time. When contacted, the spokesperson of the film refutes the allegations and says, “Amy wasn’t in town when the star cast went to promote the film on this television show.”
