Ranveer Singh was noticeably missing in action at a party at Zoya Akhtar’s house following the completion of her film 'Gully Boy'. Ranveer plays the lead in the film along with Alia Bhatt and the film also had a wrap-up party earlier.
While everyone from Karan Johar to Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and Farhan Akhtar to the non-filmi Shweta Bachchan were present at the bash, Ranveer, however, was conspicuously absent.
It turns out that Ranveer was only enjoying a vacation in Switzerland as a post from Yash Raj Films revealed. Not long ago, Ranveer was seen praising Zoya to the hilt but decided to pick his Swiss sojourn over the party as he had already planned that earlier.
“The discussion at the party, apart from Ranveer’s absence, was also the presence of Farhan and Shah Rukh together and the possibility of some discussion on the plan ahead for 'Don 3',” says a source.
It so happens that Ranveer, the brand ambassador of Switzerland, has gone on to promote the country. Since the occasion was pre-planned (5 months back), hence the actor had to skip the party and be there for his work.
