Jacqueline Fernandes, Lisa Haydon and Nargis Fakhri, who play sisters in Farhad-Sajid’s Housefull 3 share a common trait – they are all English-speaking ladies who have a difficult time mastering Hindi.
While the voices of the three actresses are dubbed by professional Hindi-speaking dubbing artistes in most of their films, in Housefull 3 their tootee-phootee (broken) Hindi was just what the film required. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 3 has three leading ladies who can’t speak Hindi.
So, John Abraham who acted in the first two Housefull films had to be replaced by Abhishek Bachchan. “Since we had three sexy ladies who can’t speak the rashtra bhasha, we needed three heroes who were fluent at it. Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh fit the bill completely.”
Their camaraderie in Housefull 3 is bound to look real. As for the three girls, they didn’t know one another at all when they started shooting. “As the shooting progressed, Jacqueline, Lisa and Nargis became inseparable,” says a source.
