Mumbai: After the super success of Don and Don 2: The King Is Back, where the climax of the film saw an exciting tease for Don 3, the makers have been questioned time and again about the third part in Don saga. While film's producer Ritesh Sidhwani had recently accepted that they are planning for Don 3 but nothing concrete has been revealed from their end. Now the rumours has it that Shah Rukh Khan has asked Farhan Akhtar to rope in Deepika for Don 3, thereby dropping Priyanka Chopra from the third film of the Don franchise. The Quantico’ star has essayed the character of Roma in previous two films.
The casting of Priyanka Chopra was always in question since PeeCee and SRK share a cold vibe now, due to there alleged affair in the past. According to a report in Filmfare, Deepika Padukone is all set to replace Priyanka Chopra in Don 3. Deepika and SRK have previously churned out hits like Om Shanti Om, Happy New Year and Chennai Express. So, he wants to cash in on his magical chemistry with her for Don 3, too.
Deepika Padukone is currently at the centre of a massive storm due to controversies of her upcoming period film 'Padmavati'. Priyanka is right now busy with shooting of season 3 of her American TV show Quantico and two new Hollywood projects 'A Kid Like Jake' and 'Isn't it Romantic?'. SRK will be next seen in Anand L Rai's untitled film.
