Video: Shah Rukh Khan loses his cool after watching 'Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen' song

Bollywood's King Khan went on a rant after watching Japanese singer Pikotaro's video that went viral.

Mumbai: A video of a moustached man dressed in gold and animal print and singing about pens, pineapples, and apples to a catchy electric beat captured the imaginations of netizens round the world and went viral overnight.

Though 'Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen' garnered a lot of attention worldwide, Bollywood's King Khan, Shah Rukh, was unknown to it. But... for not too long. With his upcoming film 'Dear Zindagi' around the corner, Shah Rukh and Alia Bhatt are busy promoting their film.

Recently, the two were on a press meet spree when they also met Anupama Chopra where she introduced the two to the viral video during a pop quiz.

While Alia was confused after watching the Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen video, Shah Rukh Khan, was scarred for life.

"It can go and PPAP itself. What is this? Who is this man? Why is he doing this? Why are people watching this?" was Shah Rukh's, who had had it enough with the pop 'trends', instant reaction.

"I’m really on fleek with this, man. I’m dab," he mocked, to which Alia corrected him by saying, "No, now you have to say that you’re not on fleek with this."

"Okay, I am not on fleek with this and I am not dabbing to this. You know, I could make a career out of this. I can do this in my bathroom everyday and make people laugh," the actor responded.

During the pop quiz, Alia and SRK were also asked if they know the meaning of 'Dabbing' and 'on feek'. When the journalist explained what the current trends stand for, SRK had a surprised look on his face.

Shah Rukh joked, "I have to tell the PR of this film. You can’t subject me to this. How to do the dab means you have done something cool?"

Alia tried to calm SRK down by saying, "But it will go away, don’t worry." But SRK, who was having none of it said, "No, it can’t exist now also."

Still failing to comprehend why such slangs are in fashion, SRK laughingly said, "On fleek? What is this? You’re on the horse or on the roll. You’re not on fleek. It has to pass fast."

The song, featuring DJ Kosaka Daimaou as the fictional character Piko-Taro, has already garnered more than 11 million views because of its insanely catchy tune. The lyrics of the song go something like this:

"I have a pen. I have an apple. Apple-pen! I have a pen. I have [a] pineapple. Pineapple-pen! Apple-pen. Pineapple-pen. Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen."
