Nayanthara greets Atlee, snubs rumour mongers
Dusky actress Nayantara who is basking in the success of ‘Jawan’ has subtly rubbished rumours that have been making the rounds over the last few days.
A few reports in certain sections of the media claimed that Nayan was unhappy because her role was chopped off in Jawan and it was made into a Shah Rukh Khan-centric movie. But today, she greeted director Atleess on his birthday, putting all speculation to rest.
The popular south Indian director turned 37 today. And this birthday will indeed be special for him not just because of Jawan, but also because of embracing parenthood. Wishes are pouring in for the director from all corners of the world. And joining them is Nayantara.
Yes, you read that right! The lady superstar took to her Instagram handle and shared a BTS collage from the sets of Jawan. It features her and Atlee together. The snaps are from their shoot of the metro scene. Nayantara writes "Happy Birthday Atlee, so proud of you."
“Nayantara and Atlee have been good friends. In fact, he brought Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan to her marriage celebrations and they got very well. even though the movie was primarily a Hindi flick, Atlee gave her a lot of importance during the promotions and even released her first look poster, so the rift between them is a myth,” says a source.
