Soundarya Rajinikanth praises Kajol and Dhanush as team VIP 2 shoots special track
Mumbai: Tamil superstar Dhanush recently announced that his much anticipated film ‘VIP 2’ will be releasing on his birthday, July 28 this year.
And with just two months left for the release, the makers are still applying the finishing touches to the film and in a bid to to gain maximum eyeballs for the film, have also shot for a special track now.
The director of the film, Soundarya Rajinikanth, took to Twitter to share a picture with her lead actors, Dhanush and Kajol, from the sets of the shoot of the song.
Happily referring to them by the names of their characters in the film, Vasundhara and Raghuvaran, the director called Kajol ‘too good to be true’ and told her brother-in-law Dhanush, 'you rock.’

‘VIP 2’ is the sequel of the 'Velaiilla Pattadhari’ that had released in 2014.
The film marks the return to Kollywood for Kajol after almost two decades.
It is the second directorial venture of Soundarya after directing her megastar father Rajinikanth in ‘Kochadaiiyaan.’
Rajinikanth had also conveyed his blessings to the film by giving the Muhurat shot for the film.
