The team of Fan recently released a ‘behind the scenes’ footage of the film’s Croatia schedule and featuring in them among many other people, were two lovely ladies who caught our attention in particular. A closer look revealed that the two have been common fixtures at all of SRK shoots for the past eight years!
Says the director of the film Maneesh Sharma, “These two German ladies come to every SRK shoot that takes place abroad. They just take a flight and even a room in the same hotel as he does and stay put at their own expense. They do not randomly go click crazy or anything, just stand in one corner and let the star do his job. In fact, they have become acquaintances now and Shah Rukh isn’t the least bit surprised when he sees them. He just goes over and gives them a hug. They are very gentle too.”
Ask them about their favourite SRK film and pat comes the reply in unison, “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. He is such a warm and kind person,” adds one of them.
When asked about the ladies, SRK said, “These ladies are like my twins. They are everywhere. It was really nice to have them in Croatia. I guess we even have them in some of the shots. They are really sweet.
They would have lunch with us and come everywhere I go. If I am travelling in Europe, these ladies will be there for sure. They are my beautiful groupies and I’ve had them for years. They plan their holidays in places where I am.”
