Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut's upcoming film ‘Simran’s screenplay and dialogue writer Apurva Asrani accused the actress of being guilty of nepotism, despite she being the one who triggered the nepotism debate in the country.

"I hired my brother as addnl writer on my new film. #Kangana hired her sister as manager & now promotes her brother. All guilty of #nepotism?" he wrote.

A few odd months back Kangana and Apurva had a battle over the writing credits of the film ‘Simran,’ and Kangana said that this was Apurva’s five-minute fame, nothing much to it. The feud was a very sour one.

However, after the accusation made on Kangana for being guilty of nepotism, her sister-cum-manager Rangoli Chandel, who is an acid-attack survivor, has come out in the open and slammed Apurva in six powerful tweets.

"@Apurvasrani acid dsn't kill you it just distorts your face in a way that wherever you go people's jaw drops in a very sad way. Kangana nt only got my treatment done but saw to it that I gained my confidence back, she held my hand and took me to the sets," she wrote, adding that, "I m topper in M.Sc microbiology I didn't loose my degree after the attack but I lost my confidence and started to wear veil."

She further said, "I am her sister and i am with her in that capacity, my brother is a pilot and don't you dare to bring him into this. You are after your 5 mins fame which you don't deserve so please calm down and Relax."

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Kangana suffered a major injury on her forehead on the sets of her film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.’ It was during a sword-shooting sequence that the sword hit the actress’ head, leaving a deep cut and bleeding her profusely. She was immediately rushed to the hospital and will be discharged within a week. Kangana will be left with the scar.
