The filmmaker knows best!

While talking to us, Pooja opened up about her plans for the third instalment of the bold movie.

With strong women like Bipasha Basu and Sunny Leone playing the lead characters, the Jism movies are sensual thrillers that have managed to grab eyeballs in the past. So whoever plays the protagonist in the third instalment will certainly have to be a force to reckon with. Actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt expects no less from the star who will play the main character in Jism 3.

While talking to us, Pooja opened up about her plans for the third instalment of the bold movie. “I am directing and producing Jism 3. The shooting of the movie will start in the second half of 2019. The script is almost ready and I am looking for a new face,” she says.

Pooja isn’t on the lookout for a girl but is batting for a woman! “I am not going to cast an obvious physical woman. My point is where is India’s Monica Bellucci or Sharon Stone? I really want to play in that area and at the end of the day, we need to look beyond the 24-year-olds. Why can’t India’s fantasy be a 45-year-old? We need a woman now, no more girls. I am looking for someone who has got the depth of character, understanding of acting skills and is sexy as hell,” says Pooja, who was in the city for a basketball event.

Pooja, who maintains that Sunny did a fantastic job in the second installment, adds, “Let’s be frank, she is not an actor but still she did well. She enjoys huge popularity, so that’s what drew in the crowd.”

There are many rumours doing the rounds about a second part of the 90s movie Sadak, which featured Sanjay Dutt and Pooja. Though she did not give any details, she confirmed her role in the movie. “Sadak 2 is happening for sure and you will hear about it very soon. I am acting in that as well,” she says.

Pooja was also full of praise for her father Mahesh Bhatt, who turns 70 on Thursday. “My plans are to spend the day with him and have a simple lunch together. He is still very energetic,” she signs off.
