Sonali reacts to her Humma Humma song's remix version starring Aditya-Shraddha

The original song 'Humma Humma' from Mani Ratnam's 1998 blockbuster 'Bombay,' starred Sonali Bendre.

Mumbai: Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor are all set to set the silver screen on fire with their sizzling on-screen chemistry in directer by Shaad Ali Ok Jaanu, which is a remake of O Kadhal Kanmani (also known as OK Kanmani) that released last year.

While the film’s trailer couldn’t make a lot of buzz in B-Town, the film’s first song ‘Humma Humma, which is a remixed version of the popular song of the same name from A. R. Rahman in the film ‘Bombay’, got the entire town talking.

Recreated by Badshah and Tanishk Bagchi, the song sees Shraddha and Aditya matching dance steps as they display their crackling chemistry.

'Humma Humma' from Mani Ratnam's 1998 blockbuster 'Bombay,' is one of those early 90's songs that established AR Rahman's career. While many are showering the stars for their performance in the revamped song, former Bollywood star Sonali Bendre, who starred in the original song, has also given her thumbs up.

Sonali took to Twitter to wish the team all the very best for their film. “Passing the baton on to @ShraddhaKapoor #AdityaRoyKapur @shaadesh @karanjohar for #TheHummaSong! http://bit.ly/TheHummasong All the best,” Sonali wrote.

Ok Jaanu

Ok Jaanu, which has been co-produced by Mani Ratnam, is slated to release on January 13.
