Tiger Shroff has his eyes set on being perfect

With the release of his new action movie promos, actor Tiger Shroff has been receiving rave reviews for his rugged, raw looks. Known for his high-flying stunts in movies, Tiger is currently busy shooting for his next releases Ganapath 1 and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, in Ganapath 1 Tiger will share screen space with actor Amitabh Bachchan and Kriti Sanon. Whereas, for Ali Abbas Zafar directorial Bade Miyan Chote Miyan he will be seen packing an action punch with actor Akshay Kumar. In an exclusive interview with Deccan Chronicle, the actor shares that what keeps him busy these days is “mostly singing and practicing martial arts.” The self-proclaimed “media-shy” actor opens up about his interests and design collaborations in the pipeline.

Fashion forward

Spotted in sleek red sunglasses and a sleeveless black shirt with Prowl scribbled in huge letters, Tiger was recently seen in the capital to launch a collaborative eyewear range. He spoke to us about his fashion choices and preferences. Talking about his style he says, “I can be called a fashion enthusiast who loves experimenting with his clothes and style statement, and I prefer wearing Western outfits. I have made clothing choices that have broken gender norms and the definition of traditional clothing. I prefer wearing clothes that define and reflect my personality but at the same time comfortable for me.”

He loves to travel and often shares his social media posts to update his fans about his new looks and collection. He mentions owning a big collection of eyewear that consists of every variety one can think of and reveals about his latest collab, “My association with Carrera is a special one. I associate with a brand that resonates with me, my values, and today’s youth. I love sunglasses and when the opportunity came to collaborate Carrera’s name came to my mind. It’s a brand that holds great legacy, and I have admired and used it forever.”

Diet secrets for six-pack abs

Known for his on-screen agility and dapper looks, Tiger believes in maintaining good physical and mental health with, “discipline, discipline and only discipline.” While he loves to flaunt his hard-earned six-pack abs with social media posts, he shyly adds, “I too look for motivation from time to time, and you need to have the right goal and work towards achieving your goals every day.”

Tiger also mentions being a strong believer in maintaining a strict diet to stay fit and cheating with desserts only on selective occasions. Sharing his diet tips, he says, “I am a bit finicky; I try to stick to it throughout the week, except for on Sundays, which is my cheat day. We should allow ourselves to indulge with our favourite junk meals. It eventually helps you in the long run. I try to follow a proper diet and my dietician helps me to stay away from simple carbs like sugar, cakes, drinks, sweets, potatoes, etc. I take more proteins from natural sources and sometimes from whey protein powder too. On my cheat days, I have desserts which I love and usually avoid on my normal days.”

The action hero is popular among his fans as a dancer, martial artist, and a secret singer. He recently shared a video of himself singing a rendition of Justin Bieber’s popular song Yummy, which gained thousands of views online. He was also praised by American singer Nick Jonas’s song for singing a version of Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife) — the video of which went viral.
