Arjun Kapoor's maternal grandmother, Sattee Shourie, has passed away following a prolonged illness. According to reports, she had been hospitalized for the past few days.
Sattee Shourie was the mother of Mona Kapoor, producer Boney Kapoor's first wife. Boney divorced Mona in 1996 and married Sridevi soon after. Mona then reportedly fell ill and suffered with health complications that ultimately lead to her death in 2012.
Sattee Shourie's, final rites will be conducted at a crematorium on Saturday evening in Mumbai.
Sattee had produced the film 'Farishtay' and television series 'Sheesha'.
Arjun was spotted at the airport, returning home from his 'Half Girlfriend' shoot. The actor will be seen playing the leading character in the film adaptation from Chetan Bhagat's novel.
