Mumbai: The film is written and directed by Shubhashish Bhutiani and is produced by Sanjay Bhutiani, Sajida Sharma and Shubhashish Bhutiani under the banner Red Carpet Moving Pictures.
Written and directed by Shubhashish Bhutiani, ‘Mukti Bhawan’ is the story of a reluctant son who must take his father to the holy city of Varanasi, where his father believes he will breathe his last and attain salvation. And so the father-son duo check-in to ‘Mukti Bhawan’, a hotel dedicated to the people with the same beliefs, where the guests are expected to either die in 15 days or leave.
The emotional tension between the central characters is real and relatable. What everyone should watch out for is Adil’s dilemma over whether he should abandon his dying father, whose only wish is to breathe his last amid grand celebrations, or be the dutiful son that he is expected to be.
Cast of Mukti Bhawan includes Adil Hussain, Lalit Behl, Geetanjali Kulkarni , Palomi Ghosh, Navnindra Behl & Anil K Rastogi and will release on 7th April 2017.
