Shraddha Kapoor and Kriti Kharbanda were spotted at Luv Ranjan’s office this week. While one has not heard of any formal announcement on his next project involving Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor, sources close to him have been insisting that the project is still on, contrary to the rumours floating around.
The rumours suggest that Shraddha was pitching herself for the role opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the film because Deepika Padukone has had a change of heart and wants to do a dark messy romance instead of another light-hearted one. “Shraddha has already met Luv in May 2018, but she clarified some weeks ago that she was not part of the film. At that time, Deepika was still in contention for the lead. So, Shraddha made her stand clear, but now, she made sure that she would try and fill in if there was a breach,” says a source.
Meanwhile, Luv is also looking at making a comedy called Wild Wild Punjab and Kriti, who was in Housefull 4 recently and will soon be seen in Pagalpanti, is said to be pitching in for the other film.
