Confirmed! Rumoured couple Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani to star in Baaghi 2

Mumbai: 'Baaghi’ was among the most successful films at the box office in 2015 and buoyed by the response, producer Sajid Nadiadwala had announced the second installment few months later, with Ahmed Khan replacing Sabbir Khan as the director.

While Tiger Shroff was announced as the lead actor, rumour mills have been abuzz with several other names for the heroine’s role.

Despite Tiger and Shraddha Kapoor's chemistry in the first part being appreciated, Tiger’s ‘Heropanti’ co-star Kriti Sanon and his rumoured girlfriend Disha Patani were some of the actresses reportedly being considered.

Recent reports stated that Shraddha was also keen on come on board for the second installment.

All speculations related to the film is now over as it is finally confirmed that ’s Disha Patani will be paired opposite Tiger in the film.

Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed the news to the Times of India, "They share an amazing on-screen chemistry, which was evident in their look test. Disha is just perfect for the role. I am happy with my cast and am excited to kick-start the project."

Tiger and Disha featured together in the single 'Befikra' and since then, reports of their relationship have been strong because of their frequent spotting together.

It would be interesting to see if they replicate their real-life chemistry in reel-life as well.
