Vidya Balan brings a colourful shade to Geeta Bali's character in Ek Albela trailer

The makers of 'Ek Albela' starring Vidya Balan and Mangesh Desai, have released a motion teaser of the much-awaited Marathi film. While the previous film posters and trailers have shown the leading pair in dull vivid light, this new teaser gives us a peek at the colourful side to their characters.

The film will see Mangesh Desai as Bhagwan Dada and Vidya Balan making a special appearance as Geeta Bali. The ‘TE3N’ actress will be making her debut in the Marathi film industry with ‘Ek Albela’.

In a recent interview, Vidya said that the film was not a biopic and that she didn't get an opportunity to explore Geeta’s personality as it was not a full fledged role. She did however admit that she had to repeatedly watch videos of the actress in order to get her mannerisms right.

The film is set to hit theatres on June 24.
