Mumbai: Varun Dhawan is all set to slip into Salman Khan’s shoes in 'Judwaa 2'. At a recent event, the actor reminisced some of his fond memories from the sets of the original movie.
One of the funniest incidents that Varun shared with the media was between him and Sallu. He said, "I remember during the first trial of the film, he was standing in a pair of shorts and a vest. I called him as Salman uncle and he was very upset. He told me, don't call him uncle or else he will slap me and asked to call him 'Bhai' instead."
Varun, who is all excited to a play double role for the first time in 'Judwaa 2', also told that Salman had shared his 20 year old movie costume with him.
"Before we started the shooting of Judwaa 2, Salman bhai sent the cartons of jeans for Raja's character. I am going to use that. He later called to say the pants will match my tapori character. It was a sweet gesture."
A sweet gesture indeed!
Directed by David Dhawan, 'Judwaa 2' also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles.
