Even as speculation around the reported breakdown of Sohail and Seema Khan’s marriage (over an alleged romantic liaison with Huma Qureshi) heats up, our trusted B-town sources claim that more trouble is brewing, and from a not wholly unexpected quarter. Sohail’s big brother Salman is apparently not too pleased with Ms Qureshi for her role in Sohail-Seema’s marital troubles. While Salman Khan may have never tied the knot himself, he is a dedicated family man, who hasn’t yet moved out of the parental home. And he is quite protective of his siblings and extended family, so the reports of his apparent ire at Huma seem credible.
A close friend of the superstar told us, “At his birthday celebrations at the Khan farmhouse in Panvel in December, Salman ignored Huma completely. It was so obvious to all of us that she was being given the cold shoulder. Salman won’t tolerate his family being broken up by any outsider.”
Well, if Salman is indeed angry with Huma, then the actress seems already to be bearing the brunt of it. She had been roped in as the brand ambassador for Celebrity Cricket League. However, she has now been replaced by Kriti Sanon.
