We all read rumours about your wife's affair with your friend: Rangoli slams Hrithik
Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut’s legal battle, which one felt had settled down, has taken a new turn. Hrithik, who has more or less chosen to keep mum, took to social media to send out a statement on the issue.
In his post, Hrithik wrote that he intends to just focus on creativity, productivity and constructive work and that he tends to ignore everything else as that is the best way to “discourage any unwanted persistent intrusions.”
He goes on to say how, without naming Kangana, he has never met the lady one on one, except for working together. He stated, “The truth is, I have never met the lady in question one on one in my entire life. Yes, we have worked together, but there has been no meeting in private. (sic)”
He also slammed reports of their alleged engagement in Paris in January 2014, saying there was no entry of the trip in the said period in his passport. He explains, “An alleged 7-year long, passionate affair between two high profile celebrities with no trail left behind. No evidence, no paparazzi pictures, no witnesses, not even a memento in possession like a selfie taken at the alleged engagement which is claimed to have happened in Paris in Jan 2014. Nothing that constitutes an exchange or any sort of proof of a romantic relationship. (sic)”
About the recent leak of some of the 3,000 emails allegedly sent by Kangana to Hrithik, he said it was up to the cyber crime department to prove whether he sent it to himself, like Kangana claims, or were one sided like what he believes. He says, “I have surrendered all my devices including laptops / phones etc which are still lying with the cyber cell , but the other party has refused to do so. The investigation hasn't been closed. (sic)”
“This is not a lovers spat. I humbly request people to stop labelling it as one and, for a second, try and see it for what it really is. I have been harassed by this for 4 years and the well meaning and probably necessary social bias towards women has deemed me helpless in defending myself. (sic)”
Rangoli hits back
Soon after Hrithik Roshan issued an official statement Kangana’s sister, Rangoli Chandel hit back at him with back-to-back tweets.
Rangoli shared a screenshot of an alleged email sent by Hrithik and tweeted, “Postin d mail frm Hrithik 2Kangna here nt fr petty gosip bt 2 shw dat he usd I pad fr comunicatin wid hr Nt d laptop. (sic)” The email was allegedly sent by Hrithik to Kangana.
The letter read, “Saw the email flood, and I don’t blame you at all. I am a little occupied so could not reply. Our life’s different, unlike other couples :) I so wish it wasn’t the case, but sadly that’s how it is. Bear with me, as I emerged through all this with a clean slate, start afresh with new memories to be made. (sic)”
“P.S. I did see the video, and it was such a tease! I wanted so much more, but didn’t say anything since you were unwell. (sic)” the letter ended. Posting a photo of Hrithik and Kangana, which the former stated was photoshopped, Rangoli wrote, “Is dat not u, who has grabbed Kangana’s waist like a creep and smelling her neck, who seems disinterested? (sic)”
Hrithik’s ex-wife Sussanne had previously posted a similar photo with the actor, proving that the said photo with Kangana is photoshopped. Rangoli further wrote, “So what if ur ex wife ws dere, I don’t knw bt we all read rumours about hr affair with your friend. Pls prove dis is photoshopped. Could your wife stop you from having multiple affairs under her nose? Why you always hide behind her? (sic)”
