We caught Aishwarya searching for a missing person in a busy market

'Sarbjit' is Based on the story of Sarabjit Singh played by Randeep Hooda, who died in a Pakistani jail.

Mumbai: The biopic on Indian convict Sarabjit Singh, who was beaten to death in a Pakistani jail, is being helmed by ‘Mary Kom’ director Omung Kumar. The film has been extensively shot in the locales of Punjab and Mumbai.

The crew was shooting an important scene in the busy streets of Mumbai suburbs last week. An eyewitness reveals that, “The scene had Dalbir Kaur, Sarabjit’s sister played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, running in the search of her brother Sarbjit holding his torn picture in her hands and asking people on the road if they had seen him. She later enters a public telephonic booth, which was created, on the sets for the scene. Soon after, Aishwarya comes out in tears and walks up to a bunch of pigeons. After the shoot, she was mauled by fans who gathered on the sets.”

Based on the story of Sarabjit Singh played by Randeep Hooda, who died in a Pakistani jail, the movie also stars Richa Chadha who essays the role of Sarabjit's wife.
