Kangana Ranaut demands these things from the producers of Teju

The actress, who is passionate about her directorial debut with Teju, make demands to the producer of the film.

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has always been vocal about pay disparity in Bollywood. She was recently featured in an AIB video that highlighted many relevant things that especially actresses have to go through in Bollywood. The video took jibe at the pay disparity amongst male and female actors in the film industry.

The actrerss has started prepping up for Teju, a film that will mark her debut as a director. Kangana who is regarded as a voice of unadulterated truth, has a powerful stance this time around too. Kangana said that she will charge for acting, directing and even share profits as a producer for her directorial debut.

In an interview with Filmfare magazine, the actress said,"I will be sharing the profits. (Smiles) I’ll be charging as an actor, as a director and will be sharing profits as the producer.”

Kangana, who is currently filming her next Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi had talked with The Indian Express about her directorial debut. She said, “It is a children’s film, and I have a lot of ideas and excitement for it. But it will be a difficult project to pull off, and I am looking forward to it. It will be a light-hearted film, I can’t call it comedy, but most definitely a nice film. This is what I wanted to do.”

As reported before, the actor would be playing an 80-year-old grandmother in Teju and will undergo an extensive makeover. Teju will be filmed in Kangana’s home state Himachal Pradesh and it is expected to release later in 2018.
