Why is Manoj Bajpayee miffed with Aiyaary co-star Sidharth Malhotra?

Here is the latest rumour doing the rounds of the sets of Aiyaary starring Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth Malhotra. Folks are telling us that Sidharth Malhotra, who is cast in the film directed by Neeraj Pandey, had to try and give a series of quicksilver expressions within a shot along with some dialogues.

And it was not at all easy for Sidharth, a relatively new actor, who has been pitted opposite a seasoned veteran like Manoj. Sidharth went into numerous retakes while Manoj was getting exasperated. Initially, Manoj was cool, but then the constant retakes were disturbing his flow as he is more of a method actor. Though he did not show much of his displeasure immediately, he later spoke at length to his co-star and the director on how they should have canned the shot.

But for onlookers, it was pretty evident that Manoj did not appreciate the lack of planning and rehearsals that should have ideally gone into the shot. Aiyaary is an espionage drama and has Manoj and Sidharth essaying roles of the mentor and the protégé.
