Hyderabad: As part of the centenary celebrations of its department of zoology, Osmania University is set to organise an international conference on recent advances in zoology. Prof. M Madhavi, conference organising secretary and head of the zoology department, said that the conference would focus on cutting-edge nano-biotechnology, bioinformatics, and drug discovery, the revolutionary CRISPR-Cas9 technology, neuroscience insights, cellular mysteries. It would also cover advances in animal physiology, agricultural and medical entomology, bio-diversity, parasitology, toxicology, evolutionary biology, genetics, economic zoology and sustainability.
