Vedanta Aluminium Collaborates with 60 Tech Startups for Innovation

National Startup Day sees Vedanta engaging in 90 diverse tech projects.

Bhubaneswar: Vedanta Aluminiumm, India’s producer of aluminium that runs a refinery and smelter unit in Odisha, has collaborated with nearly 60 cutting-edge technology startups on 90 diverse projects.

This was announced by Vedanta Aluminium on Wednesday, a day after the company observed the National Startup Day.

“Going beyond conventional notions of manufacturing, the company is utilising Industry 4.0 technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), Drone technology, Computer Vision, Robotics and more, to drive operational excellence and innovation across its functions,” a Vedanta communiqué said.

Speaking on the occasion, Vedanta Aluminium CEO John Slaven said the rise of India’s economy to global prominence was fuelled by its youthful dynamism and unwavering entrepreneurial zeal.

“The nation is home to one of the world's most thriving startup and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
