Hyderabad: With an increase in the English speaking audience in India, Sony PIX is planning to consolidate its position in the English movie and entertainment space by increasing its investments.
Speaking about this, Saurabh Yagnik, executive vice-president and business head, English Cluster, Sony Pictures Networks India, says, “Our aim this year is to solidify our position as a leading player in the English movie and entertainment space. We have identified three main pillars to facilitate this — invest in content, innovate to break clutter and build brand perception.”
Taking the idea of ‘Amazement’ to the next level, Mr Yagnik said PIX has made significant investment in top grossing Hollywood movies. We have curated our library to show larger than life blockbusters like Transformers, Avengers, etc.
