Bajaj CS400 has been renamed as Pulsar VS400; specifications revealed

The bike is powered with 373.27cc, single-barrel fluid cooled motor that is equipped for producing 35bhp (25.74 kW) at 8,000 rpm.

The eagerly awaited 400cc Pulsar model's features and specs have revealed from a recent set of images. Interestingly, the production model will be known as the Bajaj Pulsar and not the CS400. The CS400 was displayed in Auto Expo 2014. The bike is expected to be launched during the festive season and will become the fastest Pulsar.

The revealed images showing a Pulsar brand plate on the fuel tank. VS400 badge can be viewed at the panel below the pillion seat. Furthermore, a picture of brochure bearing ARAI header has also revealed. This report uncovers the specs of the Bajaj Pulsar VS400.

As per the reports, the bike is powered with 373.27cc, single-barrel fluid cooled motor that is equipped for producing 35bhp (25.74 kW) at 8,000 rpm. Thus, the powertrain has been obtained from the KTM Duke/RC 390, however, the Bajaj Motors has decreased its energy to accomplish higher fuel productivity. On KTM Duke 390 and RC390, this powertrain conveys a most extreme force of 43.3bhp.

The document also discovers that the Pulsar VS400 will come with a gross weight of 332 kg. which includes kerb weight, fuel weight, oil, the biker or driver and pillion rider as well. The bike also resembles in styling with Pulsar 200NS but the new model(VS400) is bigger in the overall look.
