Benelli is finally introducing its first fully faired motorcycle, the 302R, in India on the 25th of July. The Italian bikemaker has confirmed this by sending an official invite for the launch.
The upcoming motorcycle will compete against the Kawasaki Ninja 300, Yamaha YZF-R3 and KTM RC 390, and Benelli dealerships across the country have already started accepting bookings for it for a token amount of Rs 30,000. The 302R is expected to be priced between Rs 4 - 4.2 lakh.

The Benelli 302R's launch had been delayed by BS-IV emission norms and Benelli's decision to launch it with ABS.
It gets the TNT 300i's 300cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor which is good for 38PS @ 11500rpm and 26.5Nm @ 10,000rpm, and comes with a 6-speed gearbox.
The bike gets a trellis frame, upside-down front forks and dual front disc brakes with ABS as standard.
