Hero Xtreme 160R 4V packs a punch at Rs 1.27 lakh

Pune: Hero MotoCorp, India’s biggest motorcycle maker, has launched the new Xtreme 160R 4V priced at Rs 1.27 lakh at Delhi showroom as part of its commitment to provide a comprehensive range of premium bikes for its customers.

Hero Xtreme is designed to appeal to the youth market worldwide and is part of Hero MotoCorp's strategy to expand its offerings in the higher engine capacity segment.

The motorcycle offers a combination of performance, masculine design, smart and connected features, and enhanced control.

It comes with a powerful 163cc 4 Valve Air-Oil cooled BS-VI compliant engine, delivering a maximum power output of 16.9 Ps and a peak torque of 14.6Nm.

The Xtreme 160R 4V boasts class-leading acceleration, reaching 0-60 km/h in just 4.41 seconds, making it the fastest 160cc motorcycle in its segment. It also delivers exceptional precision and control with features such as inverted front fork suspension, adjustable rear suspension, sharp handling, and powerful disc brakes.

The Xtreme 160R also gets an updated suspension. The bike rides on a 37 mm KYB upside-down fork up front and a 7-step adjustable Showa mono-shock at the rear.

The 2023 Xtreme 160R looks more aggressive than before, especially in the new dual-tone colour scheme. It gets new tank extensions, a new LED headlight and updated switchgear.

The bike is available with either a single seat or a split seat and is equipped with a digital instrument console offering Bluetooth connectivity.

The Xtreme 160R 4V is available in three variants: Standard, Connected and Pro. The base variant comes with a conventional telescopic fork and a single seat.
