Hero MotoCorp Rolls Out New Passion+

Pune: Hero MotoCorp, India’s biggest motorcycle maker, on Monday relaunched the iconic Passion Plus bike in a refreshed 100cc avatar priced at Rs 76,301 at Delhi showroom.

It was discontinued with the onset of the BS6 norms three years ago.

The 2023 Hero Passion Plus features the same design language as its predecessor but gets some new graphics on the body panels.

The Passion Plus will directly rival the likes of the Honda Livo, Honda Shine, TVS Radeon, Bajaj Platina.

It is offered in three colour shades: Sports Red, Black Nexus Blue and Black Heavy Grey.

In terms of hardware, it gets telescopic front forks and dual spring-loaded shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are performed by drum brakes with IBS.

The Hero Passion Plus is powered by the 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that churns out 7.9 bhp and 8.05 Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. While Hero has not revealed the mileage of the motorcycle, one can expect it to deliver around 60 kmpl in real-world conditions.

“The overwhelming trust of our customers in the brand and their enduring affinity with Passion has encouraged us to introduce it in a refreshed avatar. With its stylish looks and exciting features for riders’ convenience, we are confident that the new Passion+ will grow its appeal among the customers,” said Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Growth Officer at Hero MotoCorp.
