The on screen couple kissed for 4 long minutes in the film 'Nagan Ki Ragini'.
Mumbai: If you guys think that bold scenes in our Bollywood films are quite a prick in today’s time, then hold on! It all started in 1933 when Devika Rani who locked lips on screen for almost 4 minutes with her husband-actor Himanshu Rai in ‘Karma’ for the first time. Yes, you heard it right. It is not Mallika Sherawat, Deepika Padukone or Bipasha Basu who did it for the first time on celluloid.
The actress was popularly known as ‘First lady of Indian cinema’ who reigned the era of 30’s.‘Karma’ which was an Indian talkie which was released in 1933. However, Karma was later released in Hindi as ‘Nagan Ki Ragini’.
