Asus launches 27-inch,165Hz curved gaming monitor

Asus has launched a gaming monitor that is aimed at gamers who are looking for highly responsive gaming along with ultimate style.

Asus has announced ROG Swift PG27VQ, a gaming monitor with a curved screen that is aimed at gamers who are looking for a combination of highly responsive gaming along with ultimate style.

The 27-inch monitor features a TN-type panel which offers a native resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. Bolstering its gaming credentials are a high refresh-rate of 165Hz, response time is 1ms, and also supports for NVIDIA G-SYNC technology.

The monitor comes with the ASUS Aura Sync RGB lighting system at the rear to customize the look of the display and to synchronise its lighting with other components featuring the technology.

As for physical attributes, the monitor can adjust height, tilt, swivel or can be attached to a VESA wall mounting. Those interested in a multi-display layout will be glad to know that the display has thin bezels. The connectivity options include an HDMI 1.4, a DisplayPort 1.2, a dual-port USB 3.0 hub and an earphone jack.
