THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Veteran director Aparna Sen inaugurated the Women in Cinema Collective stall at Tagore Theatre on Saturday. After inaugurating it, the director scribbled a note on the wall: 'Women (and men) should stand together against the injustice and sexual inequality in the industry (sic)'. "It is important in all areas inside and outside the industry that with sisterhood, men too must come together with us to change structures of relationships. That's what I feel, is very important", said Sen.

Says Rima Kallingal, “this is a fight together, with no gender difference. We all want to take forward this fight together with the support from everyone." The stall, adorned with messages by visitors, has a short video of WCC members airing their views.
